Egg is cluthy by submitting a new quote that in fact is a hint for an ongoing one.

So, to get it straight:

"There's nothing holding me up now but my FIGHTING HEART!... Haw! Haw!"
(which story?)
hint #1: "But wait! There's a BETTER way to reform criminals - I'LL BE SMART, myself!"

Ah ha, I know now--can't foolee old Doctor Witchie Britchie for long! I think the "fighting heart" line is from the story where Butch and his gang advise the nephews to cheat Donald in a swimming contest. Donald cheats as well, to pay back the nephews for their cheating.

Hmprf! It is! Now I have to get a quote AGAIN. Just to learn you, I'll make it extra-ordinary difficult this time.

"And I'M going to build the biggest HEADACHE in the North Pacific if I have to listen to this hoghwash till ten o'clock!"
(which story?)

Doctor Witchie Britchie wrote:Stephan is quite right about Maharajah Donald. Thanks for the information on Pawns, Robb--it hasn't been published in the USA yet (Gladstone reprinted the Strobl-drawn version just before they shut down their comics, so maybe Gemstone feels it'd be redundant to print the Jippes version immediately).

And...Darn it! I'm not sure where the jumping jacksnipes or the fighting heart comes from!

That's killing me!!! That's one of Scrooge's quotes I remember best! I had thought it was in one of the first 6 Uncle Scrooge comics lead stories, but, alas, couldn't find it. They're CHANGING THE ORIGINAL COMICS while I'm not looking!!!!!!!

"Jumpin' Jacksnipes! What now!"

Hint # 1: "I'll kick widows out in the cold! I'll snap toys from weeping children!".

Go away Pluizer. This is the English forum. There's no place for both of us here.

Stephan, is it the hypno-gun story?

Actually, this is an easy one for me--"The Strange Shipwrecks." One of my favorites a youngster.

I remember the quote, from a story in which someone did something ridiculously impressive, and Scrooge (or was it Donald) made that statement in a partially mocking manner. But I'll be hornswaggled, as I can't come up with the exact story!!!

You're not thinking in the right direction, Rob.

Hint #1: "You're a thousand years behind your times, unca Donald!"
