Kun je dan een programma maken dat input kan converteren naar input?

Volgens mij hebben we hier een spraakverwarring. (Hoop ik.) Ik begrijp niet wat je niet van mij begrijpt. Wat "chaotisch" en wat "geordend" is, hoef je helemaal niet uit te vinden.
Wat ik nodig heb is een manier om velden in een andere, door mij opgegeven volgorde te zetten. Waarbij opdrachten (zoals %link) NIET worden uitgevoerd.

En commentaarregels moeten op een logische plek staan, dus vlak boven of vlak onder het veld waar het op sloeg. Maar Dvegen kan niet ruiken waar een commentaarregel logischerwijs bij hoort.

Verder haalt Dvegen bij het inlezen "overbodige" regelovergangen weg. Dat zou hij dan ook niet meer moeten doen.

Of misschien wel? Misschien is het opnieuw aanbrengen van regelovergangen en het opnieuw plaatsen van commentaarregels niet erg?

Verschillen zijn dat de #veldnaam meegeprint moet worden ("##veldnaam" moet dan worden "#veldnaam"), en dat DVEGEN géén %-opdrachten uitvoert maar ze domweg kopieert.

De #veldnaam lijkt me geen groot probleem.
Een "domweg-geen%" optie is ook vrij makkelijk in te bouwen, denk ik.

Ik zou een opdracht nodig hebben die opdraagt: print fieldname.

Niet echt nodig, maar het scheelt je wel wat tikwerk.
Ik moet er trouwens op letten dat deze opdracht dan weer niet genegeerd wordt, maar echt uitgevoerd.

Over je datamodel: misschien is het aardig om een datamodel op te zetten voor zowel Barks als Nijgh. Daar had je het al over.
Wat je dus nodig hebt is het volgende:

- welke "objecten" zijn er? (bijvoorbeeld Person, Artwork)
- welke "kenmerken" hebben deze objecten? (bijvoorbeeld een Person heeft een Surname)
- welke "relaties" zijn er tussen de objecten? (bijvoorbeeld een Person heeft nul of meer Artwork geschreven; een Person heeft nul of meer Artwork getekend; een Artwork is een gewijzigde versie van een ander Artwork, ...)

Denk je dat je een lijst met deze drie dingen kunt maken? Of eventueel in tekstvorm?

Ja. Ik denk dat ik dat kan.
Lijstvorm lijkt me het beste.
Ik kan beginnen met een lijst waarin ik verzamel wat ik nu reeds in veldnamen en subrecords heb staan. Met bij elk een uitleg wat de functie is.

OK, dan zou ik zeggen: ga je gang!
Maar maak je niet al te druk om de uitleg. Het gaat vooral om de structuur.

Bijvoorbeeld, ik verzin maar wat:

uitleg: identificatie van item.

#artiest
uitleg: artiest; enkelvoud; alleen artiestcode invoeren

#externlink
uitleg: internet-link; enkelvoud; alleen kale link invoeren

etc.

Is dat oké?.

Ik zie daar nog niet de structuur in. Zie de 3 vragen die ik hierboven stelde. (Objecten, Velden, Relaties.)

Voorbeeld:

Object: PERSON.
Velden: Naam, Geboortedatum, Geslacht.

Object: ARTWORK.
Velden: Formaat, Creatiedatum.

Object: EFFORT - een hoeveelheid werk dat 1 PERSON heeft gedaan aan 1 ARTWORK.
Velden: Effortdatum, Efforttype (writing, music, artwork, translation, etc.)

Relaties:
- Iedere PERSON heeft 0 of meer PERSONs als kinderen.
- een EFFORT hoort bij precies 1 PERSON. Een PERSON kan 0 of meer EFFORTs hebben.
- een EFFORT hoort bij precies 1 ARTWORK. Een ARTWORK heeft een of meer EFFORTs (dus niet 0).

Maak je dat overzicht handmatig, of heb je er een programma/sjabloon voor?

Daar gebruik ik een tekenprogramma voor (Visio).

Waar o waar is mijn mechanische typemachine van weleer gebleven? We hadden het zo goed samen...

Probeer met zo'n typmachine maar eens een website te maken...


Ik ben trouwens vandaag eens bezig geweest met Dvegen, om te kijken of die CSV-files kan genereren (om in een echt database-systeem in te kezen). Dat is nog niet zo makkelijk. In ieder geval zal Dvegen wat extra informatie nodig hebben. Misschien wel een nieuw soort DEF-file erbij. Want de huidige DEF-files zijn niet gestructureerd genoeg - ik wil Dvegen niet te veel dingen laten "raden".

Kun je ook software maken waarvoor geen computers nodig zijn? Momenteel ben ik mijn hele computersysteem kwijt, in een geschil met de leverancier. Een geschil dat een juridische staart lijkt te gaan krijgen, via rechtsgang. Dit gaat een vreselijke vertraging opleveren en bijgevolg zal men mij daardoor vaak moeten missen op internet. Vooral dat laatste geeft me schuldgevoelens: De vele, vele, vele mensen die mij nu intens zullen moeten missen. Want wat is internet zonder Daniël?

Mijn excuses voor de vertraging en mijn loze beloften tot dusver. Hoewel er sprake is van overmacht, ben ik toch degene die beloften heeft gedaan die ik door deze omstandigheden voorlopig niet kan waarmaken. Ik die nota bene anderen onverbiddelijk op hun afspraken wijs... :/ Hoe genant. De pijn!

Ik zou kunnen antwoorden: Je "weet" dat ik zulk soort zogenaamd alwetende opmerkingen niet erg kan waarderen.
Je doet alsof je mijn gedachten kan lezen. En dat op een persoonlijke manier. Waar heb ik dat aan verdiend?

PC is terug. Goed is anders. Nog steeds faalt multimedia. Wat betreft rechten lijkt het alsof men in dit handelsland blijkbaar knollen voor citroenen mag verkopen, als de klant erin trapt. Niet goed, geld weg. (mopper, mopper, etc.)

Inmiddels is een expert bezig die hopelijk wel de problemen op kan lossen. Die doet dat aan huis en weet in ieder geval meer over computers dan de leverancier.
Helaas is er zoiets als vakantietijd...

Maar dit alles terzijde. Deze week of anders volgende week hoop ik eindelijk verder te gaan met DveGen. Ik kan wel wat saai geknutsel gebruiken.

Nu ben ik dan toch echt weer bezig met DveGen.

Van Guidebook neem ik aan de "061018_guidebook.zip" de laatste update is die ik je heb gestuurd (op 18-10-2006), en dat deze overeenkomt met de data-situatie op mijn schijf (tot vandaag).
Ik draai DVeGen 4.5. Als recenste versie, die ik van je heb ontvangen op 26-04-2007.
Dit even ter synchronisatie en reproductie.

Hieronder een aantal foutmeldingen in een Guidebook-"dvegen.log" van vannacht, die ik gaarne wil bespreken. Zie hieronder.
Ik stuur je het complete logbestand per e-mail. Mijn bedoeling is om dergelijke bestanden online te zetten als ik weer FTP heb. Dan kan ik linken vanaf hier.

Deze foutmelding lijkt te verschijnen als "publicationdate" onder "bbde_ct_gl200002" leeg is.
Interessant. Is dat nieuw?
Misschien kan ik het beste overal "[unknown]" invullen waar ik geen informatie heb. In plaats van velden leeg te laten.

Ik ga er maar vanuit dat deze %errors verouderd zijn en verwijderd kunnen worden.

Gaat dit om ongebruikte layouts die verwijderd kunnen worden?

Mijn volgende stap, na deze investarisatie, is het uit de input verwijderen van "off-record"-gegevens. Gegevens waarvan mij nadrukkelijk is verzocht deze offline te houden. Namen en adressen en zo. Deze informatie zal ik parkeren in een apart bestand, buiten de input.
Na deze filtering wil ik de hele input online zetten.

Hopelijk is er een mogelijkheid om FTP-verkeer in twee richtingen te hebben, zodat jij ook bestanden openbaar online kunt plaatsen. Zodoende kan vanaf hier gelinkt worden naar bestanden, in plaats van deze zo uitvoerig te citeren als ik nu.

Misschien heeft de Guidebook-input moeite met Dvegen 4.5?

Ik stuur je per e-mail de bestanden "070822_guidebook.zip" en "070822_nijgh.zip". In deze versies heb ik foutmeldingen die ik wel kon oplossen verwerkt. Dat zijn andere foutmeldingen dan die waarvoor ik hulp vraag.
Deze input-bestanden verouderen vanaf nu. Mocht je input willen editen, dan zal ik je nieuwe input sturen.
